About the Teacher
Kat Janicka has been studying and practicing meditation and hatha yoga for almost 15 years, finding them to be powerful tools for self-exploration and examining how we relate to others. She has practiced meditation with the Forest Monks in Thailand, and since 2013 has been deeply connected with Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-ji, a Rinzai monastery and retreat center located in upstate New York, where she took her lay precepts and received the name Reigetsu. Kat loves working with people to help them understand their authentic selves — their complexities, gifts, karma, and life paths. She helps to facilitate powerful breakthroughs by clearing blockages around physical, spiritual, relationship, or emotional difficulties. Kat is a passionate Ayurveda lover and Reiki practitioner (second level). Kat did her teacher training in the Sivananda Ashram and was given the name Ishvari.
