FPMT Global MANI Retreat

The 2026 GLOBAL MANI RETREAT is scheduled to commence on the first day of Saka Dawa month (Sunday, May 17, 2026), and conclude on the final Buddha Day for this year, Lhabab Duchen (Sunday, November 1, 2026). This retreat will be something unprecedented for our global FPMT family.

Every Thursday, join online where we will meditate on Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion, and recite his mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, to cultivate compassion, create the causes for peace in the world, and support the long life and activities of our teachers, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche. The mantras we recite together until Nov 1st can be counted as part of the Global Mani Retreat and will be offered at the conclusion of

This intermediate-level weeklong retreat is guided by the Buddha’s Ānāpānasatisutta: his own account of how mindfulness of breathing, developed through the four close placements of body, feeling, mind, and phenomena, leads step by step to genuine clarity and freedom.   • Teacher Tour Coordinator (volunteer, part-time, remote)

This positions support communication, coordination and collaboration across FPMT centers, projects and study groups throughout North America.
