Shantideva’s event manager Ellen Mendlow is seeking more good folks to add to the roster of event management volunteers. We have a number of visiting teachers and special events coming up this year including visits from His Eminence Ling Rinpoche, Geshe Khedup, Geshe Sherab, Venerable Sangye Khadro (Kathleen McDonald), Venerable Robina Courtin, Venerable Fedor Stracke, Venerable Amy Miller, and Carmen Mensink (that’s just so far) and we would be overjoyed to have as many volunteer participants as possible who can help so the work is distributed and light for all. If you think you may be able to help even occasionally, or know someone not on this list who may be interested, or if you are at all curious about what this opportunity entails, feel free to reach out to Ellen directly at events@shantidevanyc.org or call the center number (917-909-0410), leave a message and she will follow up with you.
