Advice from Lama Zopa Rinpoche for COVID-19
Thangton Gyalpo Prayerathon

Note: Prayerathon will be taking a break.

Would you like to do a bit more for your internal practice during these challenging times? FPMT Spiritual Director Lama Zopa Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama have recommended a few practices and mantras to recite to maintain our own good health and fend off the spread of COVID-19, and they can certainly make you feel more empowered during these critical days. Rinpoche has said that group practice can have a greater benefit than practicing alone.

The International Mahayana Institute (IMI), FPMT’s community of monks and nuns, in coordination with Chenrezig Institute in Queensland, Australia, is organizing a free, online weekly group practice using these practices as advised by Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Feel free to pass along this information to any others you know via email, social media, etc. The more we include, the better!

You can join at any time during this 24-hour window, weekly, for any amount of time:
Fridays at 7:30pm until Saturday at 7:30pm ET

Here is a recorded practice session by Ven. Amy, for review at any time. And find Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Teachings on Thought Transformation during the Time of COVID-19.
