HH Dalai Lama's Birthday Celebration!
The wish-granting Wish-Fulfilling Jewel,
Source of every single benefit and happiness in this world,
To the incomparably kind Tenzin Gyatso, I beseech:
May all your holy wishes be spontaneously fulfilled.– Prayer of the Long Life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is having a birthday, and we invite you all to come celebrate with us! As the spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness has devoted his life to bringing happiness to all living beings everywhere
On the event of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso’s 89th birthday, come celebrate with Shantideva Center as Venerable Robina leads us in praises and practices compiled by Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
The very best gift we can give to our kind teachers is the offering of our own sincere spiritual practice. As part of this evening’s events, we also invite you to come prepared with a photo of His Holiness, and an additional offering of tea and sweet food, to be used in our practice together. Bring Your Own Bodhicitta!
