Lojong (Mind Training):
How Its Application Can Help Us Prepare for Death with Confidence and Compassion
with Venerable Amy Miller

Lojong or “mind training” is an essential part of Buddhist practice that teaches us how to transform problems into opportunities for deep spiritual growth. Using the profound yet brief lojong text, Turning Suffering and Happiness into Enlightenment, by Jikme Tenpe Nyima, the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche, this three part series will not only help us prepare for the major transition of death, but show us how we can train our minds to live a happier and more peaceful life.

Ven. Amy will also guide us through what happens at the time of death and how we can utilize lojong and other techniques to lessen fear, regret and confusion in general through life and death.
