What do you do to support Shantideva Center?

I am fortunate enough to support the Spiritual Program team.

What do you do professionally and/or as a hobby?

As I’m retired (highly underrated state), I like to walk through the streets of NYC and to learn things, whether in books or on youtube, or in “real life.”

Why do you offer service?

Hands down, the most valuable thing for me to spend my time doing.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?

Two things: It’s beyond rewarding to be close to the dharma, and the personal growth.

What are other volunteers like at Shantideva Center?

Tolerant, friendly, go above and beyond in embodying the virtues spoken of by the Buddha.
