You don’t need to live in New York to become part of our volunteer community.
Volunteering is at the heart of Shantideva Center’s operations. It is an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded people to help you practice the path. Volunteering can also generate great satisfaction and support a well-rounded education around the pillars of scholarship, meditation, and service. As Yangsi Rinpoche notes, service is the activity that results from the integration of the study of Buddhist thought and the internal exploration of Buddhist practice.

Summary | Responsible for the setup and configuration of registration for our events, using the MindBody Client web-based application |

Time Commitment | Approx 2-8 hours/week (dependant on event schedule); must be available on a regular basis with reliability |
Training/ Supervision | We will provide training and continuous support afterwards |
Role | AV Technician |
Summary | Responsible for the setup and operation of audio-video equipments and Zoom application at Shantideva Center for live programs |
Location | Shantideva Center – Brooklyn, NY |
