Year-End Tara Puja and Vajrasattva Practice

Finish out the year with powerful practices aimed at liberating us from our fears and obstacles and cleansing our karma! This special event will take us through group practices of Cittamani Tara Puja followed by Vajrasattva purification.

In the morning, join us for a Cittamani Tara Puja, a practice that invokes Tara, a female personification of the enlightened mind. Also known as Tara the Liberator, she is well-known for her swift and compassionate assistance in times of emergency, distress, and difficulty. The Cittamani Tara Puja includes offerings of mandalas, flowers, optional prostrations, and recitations of the Praises to the 21 Taras. This puja is a powerful support for our Dharma practice and achieving our temporal and ultimate goals.

Afterward, share in a wonderful opportunity to reset your karma through the purifying practice of Vajrasattva. Karma is the law of cause and effect that determines what we experience in life. As ordinary beings, we have all acted in ways that we later regret. This practice uses the four opponent powers to help us recognize and take responsibility for our harmful actions. With compassion for ourselves, we weed the gardens of our mind, refocus, motivate, and spring ahead in the joyous cultivation of virtue.

Ready your mind and heart for success and wisdom in the New Year! All levels of practitioners are welcome.
