This workshop explores the true essence of compassion and the importance of setting boundaries. It challenges the misconception that constant availability is compassionate, which often leads to burnout. Participants will learn about genuine compassion and how to establish boundaries in a healthy way.
The course is experiential and you will learn more about secular compassion-based mindfulness, and some simple tools for making mindfulness an ongoing part of your life.
This program will weave eight pillars of joy (perspective, humility, humor, acceptance, forgiveness, gratitude, compassion, and generosity) into the realistic tools necessary to undertake that journey.
This program explores a path of transformation by being present with our pain, fear, and aversion and incorporates mindfulness exercises to help us move through these less than comfortable states.
